Last minute DIY holiday gift

If you’re like me and doing things a *little* bit late - here’s a gift idea made out of ingredients you already have at home. Plus, who doesn’t love a fun DIY self care gift?!

DIY Sugar Scrubs:

  • 1 C Raw Sugar

  • 1 C Brown Sugar

  • 1 C Fractionated Coconut Oil

  • 8 4 oz glass jars with lids

  • Optional: Essential Oils

Instructions:

  • Combine the sugars and stir out any clumps.

  • Add the fractionated coconut oil and stir.

  • Using a ¼ C measuring cup, fill up 8 glass jars with the sugar mixture.

  • Add 5 drops of essential oils of your choice to each scrub.

Tip: I also like to add a drop of essential oil to the inside of the lid to give an extra aroma as soon as the person opens it.

Essential Oil Recommendations:

  • Lavender: Calming, relaxing, soothing for skin.

  • Orange: Refreshing, happy, soothing.

  • Eucalyptus: Refreshing, opens airways (safe for kids 10+)

  • Peppermint: Refreshing, cooling, energizing (safe for kids 10+)
